Laguna Rocotuyoc

Embark on an unforgettable adventure north of Huaraz, where we'll begin our journey to the picturesque town of Marcará. From here, we'll detour east to the community of Vicos and discover the wonders of Huascarán National Park.

Along the way, we'll be captivated by the beauty of Paqcharuri, an enchanting place distinguished by its crystal-clear waterfalls. We'll also marvel at the Llamaruri cave paintings, a historical and cultural treasure that connects us to ancient times. We'll continue ascending by vehicle to reach the impressive Rocotuyoc Lagoon, where we'll witness majestic panoramic views with towering mountains as a backdrop.

From Rocotuyoc, we'll embark on a relaxing, almost flat hike that will take us to Laguna Congelada. This magical body of water, located at the foot of a glacier, will amaze us with the chunks of ice floating on its surface, creating a dreamlike landscape.

After enjoying this unique setting and taking the time to soak up its beauty, we'll return to Laguna Rocotuyoc, where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Huaraz.
