Laguna Parón

We'll begin our experience between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., picking you up directly from your hotel in Huaraz. From there, we'll head to the town of Carhuaz, where we'll make a brief stop. This charming place offers the opportunity to visit its picturesque main square and is also a great time to pick up any food or drinks you might have forgotten.

We will continue the journey to Caraz, located 70 km north of Huaraz. From this point, we will begin a gradual ascent along a paved road, passing through picturesque villages that add charm to the journey, until we reach the magical Laguna Parón. This destination stands out for its stunning turquoise waters, a visual spectacle that makes it a must-see stop. Upon arrival, you can explore the surroundings of the lagoon, discovering the wild Andean flora and delighting in views of iconic mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, such as Artesonraju, the Garcilazo Pyramid, and Caraz.

For those looking for a touch of adventure, there's the option of taking a hike of approximately 40 minutes. This zigzagging and somewhat steep trail leads to a spectacular viewpoint, from which you can appreciate the lagoon in all its majesty.

After enjoying this unforgettable landscape and capturing unique moments in photographs, we will return along the same route to Caraz, and then continue back to Huaraz.
